“[In response to Reverend Caldwell’s comments on transgenics not being human and therefore deserves no rights since they were manufactured and not made by God] Not alive? Not human? Who are you to sit in judgment Mr. Caldwell? Have you seen that tape? Did you see the look in his eyes? He was scared, cornered. And despite what people like you have been saying about them, transgenics aren’t that different from you and me. They do feel, they do hurt, they are alive. All they want to do is to live in this world. So you can say you’re speaking out for God, Mr. Caldwell, but maybe you should take a moment to think about who you’re condemning. They can tell you what it’s like to be afraid, alone in a hostile world. And it might be more convenient to pretend otherwise, but in the end, who does that say more about? Them? Or us? This has been a streaming freedom video bulletin. Peace, out.”

Logan Cale as Eyes Only (played by Michael Weatherly) on Dark Angel (via xsoupytwist)

Man oh man, I love this character.

I know, right? Logan Cale is my favorite character on Dark Angel and just made me like Michael Weatherly so much more (I saw him on NCIS before Dark Angel)

I actually watched Dark Angel first, but i was watching it for Jensen Ackles in Season 2; I came across NCIS re-runs and enjoyed his character immensely. I went back and watched Dark Angel and fell in love with this character. I enjoy Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo, but I respect Logan Cale. He’s one of the two reasons I got into journalism.

Haha, yeah, I saw your post from earlier about the whole Journalism thing. I just always saw NCIS re-runs on USA network, but there was one long weekend of some sort where they had an NCIS marathon and I started watching it and got really into it. I didn’t look into Michael Weatherly’s stuff right away though, and later on realized that he was in Dark Angel which was one of those shows that I used to watch bits of as a little kid (I have an older brother who likes flipping through channels a lot). So I got curious and watched both seasons. And I definitely agree with you. Logan Cale is a character that commands respect.
